The diet based on pineapple helps you fight the consequences of overeating, as well as of the consumption of unhealthy food.

It is suggested that you consume the pineapple for four days, as it works as a temporary remedy. The pineapple is considered to balance the diet.

Thanks to this diet, you will be able to lose up to three kilograms for one week only.

Pineapple is a highly beneficial fruit, especially efficient in the combat against water retention, cellulite and bloating. It contains large amounts of water (around 90 percent), and numerous other nutrients, including potassium (efficient for elimination the excess water from the body), iron (the mineral responsible for creation of new blood cells which transport the oxygen throughout the entire body), etc.

Moreover, pineapple contains an enzyme named bromelain. This enzyme improves the digestion and helps in the combat against the inflammatory processes in the organism. This enzyme is also very important as it speeds up the metabolism.

The pineapple is known to contain very small amounts of calories. 100 grams of pineapple contain 40 calories only. Always eat this fruit fresh and ripe, and make sure you keep it in the fridge upside down, so that the sugar is able to melt in the entire fruit. When fresh, the pineapple’s crust has yellowish to orange color and does not have any spots. It has hard structure and green leaves.

The pineapple is recommended to be consumed immediately after the cutting so it can preserve all the properties of vitamin C, which is important for the creation of collagen, a substance that improves the elasticity of the skin.

Here we present you a few tips on what to do when you are on the pineapple diet: avoid processed meat products and old cheese, energetic and alcohol drinks, and carbohydrates. You should also drink tea (at least two cups of some tea every day) and at least two liters of water daily.

It’s recommended to do this: consume at least two tablespoons of oil on a daily basis, limit the intake of salt, vinegar and spices. Indulge into exercising.

The pineapple diet is for people with good health. People who suffer from diseases like diabetes and colitis, people who are intolerant to pineapple enzymes and people who deal with kidney or liver dysfunction are not recommended to follow this diet.

Here’s an example of the pineapple diet for one day:

Breakfast:  one fruit, one cup of tea, and some pineapple juice

Snack: natural pineapple juice

Lunch: one slice of bread and four pineapple slices

Snack: an apple and some pineapple juice

Dinner:  one cup of tea against bloating, two pineapple slices, and 50 grams of boiled rice

An example of the pineapple diet for 3 days:

Day 1: only fresh pineapple and water.

Day 2: fresh pineapple and water, plus two cans of tuna, one for lunch and the other for dinner.

Day 3 is the same as day 1.

Remember that this diet has a purpose to detoxify your body, as it can happen that the lost kilograms and water in particular return when we go back to the previous, normal dietary regimen.

You are suggested to include pineapple into your regular, balanced diet. This will help you lose weight, as the pineapple triggers the sense of satiety and satisfies the sugar cravings.
