He Sticks Nails In A Lemon. What Happened Next Amazed Me!
You have most likely heard about the term ‘lemon’ which refers to a car that has been found to be defective after it has been bought. But, do you know what the true origins of this term are?
An urban legend has it that this term originates from a time when the people who were selling horses used to cram a lemon up a sick horse’s rear so that they make it perk up in front of the new, potential owner who has come to inspect it.
As strange as it sounds, this used to be true.
However, as strange or bad as this seem to you, we are sure that you will become horrified when you hear that the horses were even being crammed up flaming lemons, which is even harder to endure.
You are now most likely very confused. A flaming lemon? Are you serious?
The YouTube channel North Survival presents a video that can make you think about it. We have all heard numerous rumors and stories about many odd things that have been and that are being done with fruit, but lightening a blaze with citrus is a completely new concept.
The thing is, you do not even need something too fancy to make a lemon blaze, either – some zinc and copper nails, wire, steel wool, and a material that ignites will do.
You will see that the chemical reaction that happens after construction is fascinating, and in addition, the wires are even able to generate electricity. Just touch them to the steel wool (and firewood of your choice), and you will have yourself a nice, toasty fire in just a couple of seconds.
