Two-Year-Old Baby Gets Bloody When Wearing Jelly Sandals

Esme Connor is a two-year-old girl who went out for a walk in her new jelly sandals and ended up with some cuts and blood on her feet.

Lisa Connor, the mother of this little girl, has shared some photos of her daughter’s wounds on the social media. She wanted to inform and warn other parents about the risks of these sandals which cost 12 dollars only, and her daughter had gotten them as a birthday gift.

After the walk around the house which lasted for about thirty minutes, the little girl came to her mom crying. Her ankles and the soles of her feet were all covered in blood. It is not that weird that some new shoes rub the skin, but this is too much, says the mother.

It started on Monday, the mother says. This was when her little daughter started moaning and whining, but the mother initially thought that the whining was the result of tiredness. The mother was inside finishing some home chores, and her daughter was out in the garden playing. Then, Esme came in crying. Her feet were all bloody and she could not stop crying. They were calming her down for an hour, and this surely spoiled her birthday weekend.

According to Lisa, her fiancé Niall successfully treated the injuries of the little girl at home using a bandage and practicing a good washing, but the injuries were still incredibly sore.

Next is the seller of these sandals, which sells them online for 12 dollars, and they are being advertised as ‘fun jelly sandals for short term wear only’. Lisa, the mother of the little unfortunate girl has spoken with the customer service department and they approved the returning of the shoes and said that they would examine them the following week.

There were other worried mothers who also shared some similar stories online. This made the company announce that they were really sorry for the distress that these sandals had caused, and that they would take this matter very seriously. They promised to inspect the sandals thoroughly, as this was the first complaint of this kind they have received.
