Test Yourself And See If You Are Allergic To Something!

However, every person needs to know what they are allergic to.

Allergies can cause numerous problems, especially allergies to food. Some of those problems are obesity, constipation, and high blood pressure, as well as the more severe and rare ones like dizziness, asthma, fatigue, and even depression.

Luckily, you can prevent some of the health problems caused by allergies. You should make food allergy tests, but sometimes these tests can be pretty expensive. This is no longer a problem, as there is this simple home test for allergies you can make in your own home and get similar results.

Prior to starting this test, you should know a couple of things. When you do this test, you must not have any infections or colds. This means that you must be in perfect health condition.

Furthermore, you should not eat several hours before the test. That is why this test is best to be carried out in the morning right after getting up. Also, you will need several items for performing this test, including a non-digital watch, and the food you suspect you are allergic to, as a result of the fact that your body has already had some kind of allergic reactions to it.

If you want this test to be a success, you should be very relaxed while doing it and remain in sitting position. This is due to the fact that this test must be taken when the vital signs of your body are at their most normal rate and when you are not excited or stressed.

How To Do The Test

Start by sitting still and calming down for about five minutes time. Then, measure your heart rate and one minute later, take note of the reading. Your pulse is best measured if you do it at your wrist.

Take note of the exact value of your heart rate and write it down once you measure it. Then, repeat the measuring one more time so that you are sure it is accurate. Return to your relaxed mode and stay like that for five more minutes. Then, take a little bit of the food you want to test and place it in your mouth. Before you do anything, chew it well and hold it in your mouth for a while.

While you do this, you should not that you must not make any sharp movements, because this will affect the reading. During the following sixty seconds, measure your heart rate once again, making sure that you retain the food in your mouth.

In case the results indicate that your heart rate has increased by more than five beats, then you are probably allergic to that food. This means that you should not swallow this food.

You could get better and more accurate results if you keep all the gadgets that could interrupt this process and disturb your heart rate away. In case you are a smoker, do not smoke two hours before you take this test, because smoking has a tendency to raise the heart rate.
