This Is How You Can Make Your Own Churro Ice Cream Sandwiches

Fortunately, making these amazing churro ice cream sandwiches is quite simple and easy. You just need to follow the recipe which clearly provides all the details. So, you wonder which ingredients you are supposed to use. Here is the complete list:
- a cup of water
- 2 tbsp of vegetable oil
- a cup and two tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp of brown sugar
- 1 tbsp of cinnamon
- 2 big eggs
- 9 scoops of dulce de leche ice cream (or your favorite one)
- ¼ tsp of salt
- a cup of granulated sugar
- oil for frying
After you have prepared the ingredients needed, follow the next steps:
1. Put the flour and the teaspoon of cinnamon through a sieve into a medium mixing bowl
2. Mix the water, the brown sugar, the salt, and the vegetable oil into a medium saucepan set over medium heat. Let the mixture boil and once it starts boiling, add the flour-cinnamon mixture to the pan and stir quickly. Despite the fact that the mixture is going to be thick, you should go on stirring until the flour is integrated into this rough, unshorn ball of dough.
3. Put the dough in the bowl of a stand mixer fit with a paddle add-on. Turn the mixer on medium speed and start adding the eggs, one at a time. After that, go on mixing until the dough becomes smooth and combined.
4. Take two baking sheets and coat them using baking paper. Take a pastry bag and make a small piping tip to it, and then put the churro dough in the bag. Pipe the dough into circles and try to make cookies out of it. Begin at the center of the circle and go on outwardly in a spiral pattern to get the shape of a cookie. Then, put the baking sheets in the refrigerator and wait for about ten minutes so the dough becomes chill and set.
5. Take a big skillet or deep fryer and add some oil to it, at least 2 inches deep. Put it on heat until it becomes 350 degreed F hot. Take a baking sheet and coat it with a few layers of paper towels. Then, take a bowl of medium size and put the granulated sugar and the remaining two teaspoons of cinnamon in it and mix them.
6. Start frying the churros, two or three at a time, and turn them over from time to time so that they can get grown evenly. Place them in the baking sheet coated with paper towels with a spatula or a slotted spoon and let the excess oil drain. Flip them in the mixture made of sugar and cinnamon before they completely cool off.
7. Take two churros and put a scoop of ice cream between them and gently press them together. Your homemade churro ice cream sandwiches are ready for you to enjoy them.
