The Crazy Russian Hacker is already a YouTube star, and he has released a video in which he shows how to open a can using just his bare hands and a piece of concrete. He did not use a can opener in order to show that it is possible to open a can even if you do not have a can opener and you have an emergency.

The Crazy Russian Hacker used a pretty simple method in which he only rubbed the top side of the can down against the concrete, thus broke the top seal, squeezed the can with his hands, and the can opened. You can always rub a can against a parking lot stoppers for example. The lid of the can pops off, and you can see that in the video.

If you cannot find a concrete in the time of the emergency when you need to open the can, you can use other option. As WikiHow says, you can open a can with the help of a spoon. You just need to rub the spoon against the lid of the can and use pressure. You can also open a can using a knife, by cutting the lid of the can; however, you need to be aware that you can damage your knife if you opt for this method.
