A scientific study has been carried out in Germany and it has been found out that clogs which are made from plastic materials contain many carcinogenic compounds which can be the reason for the occurrence of some types of cancer.

In order to prove the results of the study, the scientists selected ten pairs of clogs that were made of plastic. They carefully opted for the best brands on the market. Then, they took these brands in a laboratory and analyzed them. The scientists themselves could not believe the results, as the clogs contained 60 percent of PAHs also known as aromatic polycyclic hydrocarbons.

In case that these substances are not familiar to you, you should know that they are highly carcinogenic and can cause cell mutation when absorbed by the body.

These substances are very dangerous when inhaled as well, and they are also able to penetrate into the skin and enter the body.

The research has shown that the black clogs contained the highest amount of this certain type of carcinogen.

Nearly 70 percent of the clogs that were subjected to testing were proven to contain solvents and heavy metals.

These are highly poisonous substances that can enter the body through the skin. If you do not like to cause yourself problems, you should wear socks first before putting on these clogs.
